Buying Time was commissioned by Northern Gallery of Contemporary Art in 2013, and supported by Arts Council England.
I worked alongside an industrial robotics engineer in Byker, Newcastle for 4 months. Together we worked on a series of sculptures and processes to investigate notions of skill, labour and craft using photogrammetry, multi-axis CNC and hand carving.
